While Zendaya has neither confirmed nor denied that she’s secretly tied the knot with Tom Holland, her recent The Drama press run looks have done everything but quiet the gossip. This sudden turn to wedding-chic attire emphasizes the fact that maybe she is the drama after all.
At the Golden Globe Awards back in January, marriage rumors first began to circulate when the actress arrived to the red carpet with a diamond ring on her wedding finger. Then, at the Actor Awards earlier this month, her stylist and Image Architect Law Roach stirred up even more whispers after claiming she privately got hitched—even leading to AI-generated “photos” of her fake wedding.
Regardless, her recent method-dressing approach, which she knows a thing-or-two about (see her tennis core looks during the Challengers era), perfectly promotes her upcoming film. In it, she will play Emma Harwood who is engaged to Charlie Thompson, played by Robert Pattinson.
Whether she’s wearing bridal white at the Louis Vuitton show, attending a wedding as part of The Drama’s press run, being seen in a floral gown, on Jimmy Kimmel Live, fit for a wedding guest, or a bridesmaid-esque brown dress for the Oscars, she’s dropping hints to everyone’s burning questions. What will the attire be like when the wedding bells actually ring?
Until then, with wedding season around the corner, take inspiration from Zendaya’s recent looks below. She’s reminding us that wedding weekend looks don’t have to be cliché—or even something you only wear once—one dress at a time.
A Sheer Suit by Maison Francesco Scognamiglio
In a rare mirror selfie, Zendaya showed off a sheer white blouse layered over a satin bra, styled with a long white tie and fitted bell-bottom trousers. For brides considering a suit, it’s the perfect reference—balancing tailored structure with a subtle, modern edge of sex appeal.
Deconstructed Chic in Matèrie Fecales
The actress stepped onto a windswept balcony on a Parisian morning, wearing a sheer, pink-toned one-shoulder gown. Delicately constructed roses adorned her shoulder and trailed along her waistline, while a softly frayed train cascaded in the opposite direction, catching the breeze. She completed the look in her signature “So Kate” heel by Christian Louboutin. This time in a blush pink.
Something New: A Custom Louis Vuitton Moment, Finished With a Bow
On Tuesday March 24th, Zendaya attended the Paris Premiere of The Drama in a conservative yet, statement-making look. In satin long-sleeve gown with a high neckline that nearly grazed the floor, the party was certainly in the back. With a gaping open back and an oversized bow that sat at the bottom of the cut out and trained behind the actress as she made her way down the carpet.
In an instagram caption the actress’ image architect poked at the look saying, “Is she the drama?” playing on both the dramatic adorned train and the title of the film.

Something Old: A Draping Vivienne Westwood Gown
On March 17th, Zendaya attended the Los Angeles Premiere of her new A24 film The Drama in her most traditional bridal look yet: an ivory silk satin Vivienne Westwood gown. While a wedding dress is traditionally reserved for just that one special occasion, the actress made an exception for this corseted gown which she first wore over a decade ago.
As she said on the red carpet, Zendaya is well aware of the traditional wedding saying, “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.’” So, naturally, “I started with something old. This was a dress that I wore when I was 18 years old to the Oscars, my very first Oscars. It was a very important moment for me.”

An Alexander McQueen Romantic Floral Dress
If you’re attending a spring wedding, think: the floral dress Zendaya wore to Jimmy Kimmel Live on March 16th. The rom-com star wore a romantic Alexander McQueen dress from Seán McGirr’s latest collection, crafted in sheer flowing fabric with romantic pleats and a bow tied at the back of the neck.

A Ruffled Moschino Pant Suit
Then, she left the Jimmy Kimmel Live set in another look. This time, it was a ruffled Moschino pant suit. Under her grey, ‘80s style suit jacket, she wore a white Oxford shirt unbuttoned enough to expose her midriff. Meanwhile, ruffled tendrils swung from her sleeves, which just about reached her white pumps (which have proven to be her signature wedding shoe.)

A Chocolate Louis Vuitton Slit Gown
Zendaya presented the award for Best Director at this year’s Oscars in a custom brown Louis Vuitton gown and heels to match. The one-shoulder gown had a slit at the sides and leg. Meanwhile, her rings weren’t the only accessory of the night. Her Cindy Chao diamond branch earrings and Rolex watch dressed up the look you may see on a bridesmaid this season.

A Whitney Houston, Via Carrie Bradshaw, Bouquet Dress
“The Greatest Love of All” may be your husband—and the bouquet dress Zendaya wore to ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood. While the dress was seen on Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City: The Movie (2008), it’s a replica of an original Eugene Alexander dress famously seen on Whitney Houston in 1987.
The actress’ bridal white mini dress was accented with an oversized white and gold flower at the shoulder with leaves extending onto the body of the dress. She paired the look with stud earrings, a gold bracelet, stacked rings, and her signature white So Kate Louboutin heels. Dare we say that this ensemble is perfect for a wedding after party look?

An Exaggerated Bridal White Louis Vuitton Number
The exaggerated collar and cuffs on her white shirt dress was formal enough to be wedding-ready—perhaps the bride’s look for the welcome party during a nuptial weekend. At the Louis Vuitton show in Paris, Zendaya added a black belt unifying a white button-down and gathered high-low skirt. With it, she paired black pumps and, of course, silver wedding jewelry.

An All-White Lace Look
Zendaya wore custom Harris Reed to the official The Drama premiere after party. The look is said to be inspired by Prince’s 1985 Purple Rain tour look.
Something Borrowed: A Bejeweled Neckline From Armani Privé
For the Rome premiere, Zendaya continued her bridal-inspired fashion narrative. After channeling “something old” and “something new,” she’s now stepped into “something borrowed,” wearing a gown previously seen on actress Cate Blanchett at the 2025 Venice Film Festival.

The Sculpted Bride
Zendaya appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show in a two-piece white set featuring a structured top with bold shoulder padding and a fur-trimmed hem, paired with a matching knee-length skirt from Stella McCartney’s Fall 2026 collection. She completed the look with her signature Christian Louboutin So Kate heels.
Something Blue: In Schiaparelli Couture
For her final look last night, Zendaya stepped into “something blue” at the New York City premiere of the drama, just one day before the film hits theaters. Ideated by her stylist Law Roach, she opted for a blue-accented dress from the Schiaparelli 2026 Couture show.
