Stefon Diggs and Cardi B have people speculating about their status after Super Bowl LX. Some fans have claimed that the couple unfollowed each other on social media (though sometimes it’s unclear if these couples actually follow each other in the first place). Fans are tripping over themselves trying to figure out what, if anything, went wrong.
One clue people are holding onto is an interview Cardi gave at a pre-game event hosted by Fanatics.
“One inspiring message for Stefon before the game?” a reporter asked. She responded, “Good luck,” before briskly walking off.
A short response isn’t an issue, but the Internet noted that it lacked the sweetness Cardi has exuded when it comes to the NFL player over the last couple of months. That includes the support she showed all the way to the Patriots’ AFC Conference win in January.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper was present at the Super Bowl, but it doesn’t look like she was there to support Diggs. Cardi made an appearance on the ground during Bad Bunny’s Halftime Show inside La Casita and left the stadium once the set ended. Considering she’s typically in the stands cheering the wide receiver on and dishing out PDA after the final whistle, that is unusual.

Some fans think the beef between them may be about Diggs having one of his children’s mothers at the game. K’Yanna Barber was allegedly in attendance with their son. She welcomed a child with the NFL player in late 2025. Diggs also spent some time with their baby during Christmas and posted him on Instagram Stories with the caption “one of my boys first Christmas.” That caused a stir among fans since he didn’t spend the festive season with the “WAP” artist. For the record, he reportedly has six children with six different women, including Cardi.
Diggs, who is stuck in a cycle of bad press lately, has had multiple allegations hurled at him since December. Just a few days before the Super Bowl, the New England Patriots player was accused of defamation and conspiracy in a civil lawsuit. In December, he was charged with felony strangulation or suffocation and misdemeanor assault and battery due to an alleged altercation with his former private chef. Despite the bad press, Cardi remained in the picture.
The two were first rumored to be dating in late 2024 before hard-launching their relationship with a steamy yacht photo in June 2025. Their baby boy (whose name has not been made public) was born a few months later in November.
