The 57th Annual NAACP Image Awards are happening tonight (Feb. 28), and the red (make that blue) carpet was rolled out to welcome the best in Black excellence. Our faves stepped out at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in LA, and some are attending with their significant other. Viola Davis, set to be honored with the Chairman’s Award, hit the carpet with her husband Julius Tennon (and their beautiful daughter, Genesis. Acting great Delroy Lindo stepped out for the night with his wife, Nashormeh. Mainstay carpet couple Sterling K. Brown and wife Ryan Michelle Bathe were on hand looking amazing as always, and Kerry Washington (our upcoming Black Women in Hollywood honoree for her career achievements) and husband Nnamdi Asomugha attended as well, even if they made separate blue carpet entrances, as they always do. Love is in the air, and on the ground at the NAACP Image Awards, and it’s only right since it’s one of the biggest nights for Black talent in the industry.
